Summer Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) sponsored by the National Science Foundation (NSF). Operated L-I-V testing and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy for use in characterizing Quantum Cascade Lasers. Completed a final abstract, poster, and presentation on research findings. Close contact with graduate students, postdocs, industry professionals, and professors (particularly Professor Claire Gmachl).
